Hatha Yoga
Center the mind & body by using breathing exercises and physical poses (asanas) to circulate the blood & gain flexibility and strength, coupled with using relaxation poses to restore the body and promote well-being.

Myths, Meaning & Movement
Learn how the yoga postures got their names while you practice Hatha Yoga outside at beautiful and serene Four Mile Historic Park. You must register in advance for this fun class.

Yoga 1 – Outdoors at Cook Park
This meditative practice includes longer holds to ignite the body’s internal heat and allow deep release to occur. Students learn to balance strength with flexibility and effort to surrender in each pose.
Mondays, 5:30-6:30 pm
Outdoors at Cook Park
(near the rec center) in Denver. Reservations are Required by Sunday evenings at 8 pm.

Increasing Strength & Mobility in the Spine

This 2-part course combines yoga and physical therapy techniques to prevent, or help alleviate, pain and stiffness in the back, hips, neck and shoulders. You will learn to target core muscles for strengthening and how to do effective stretching techniques. This will be paired with breath exercises to encourage relaxation and stress relief.
