This class focuses on foundational yoga poses with the opportunity to challenge oneself throughout class. Students are introduced to correct form, breathing techniques, and modifications for poses.

The Tr.uCore Method

The Tr.uCore Method is a specialized core muscle assessment, education and strengthening program created for the already established athlete, the beginner exerciser, and anyone in pain, especially in the hip or back region. It can alleviate pain and make fitness programs more productive.

Yoga for Low Back Health

Whether you suffer from low back pain, or just want to prevent future injury, this workshop can help. Join Lorie Lowenthal (PTA, E-RYT 200) and learn the importance of strengthening core muscles to support the low back.  You will learn and practice techniques to do this in a safe, supportive way. In addition we will cover effective stretching techniques, how breathwork can help ease muscle tension and assess weak and tight, overworked muscles. This is presented through a yoga class style format paired with a brief information session to present basic principles and answer any questions.
