NEW CLASS Starts Wednesday, March 3rd, 2021:
Healing Through Yoga

This is a small group class (limited to 4 participants), that addresses each individual’s health goals. Participants must reserve a spot 48 hours in advance, and fill out a brief intake form. This information enables Lorie to build a class that meets each student’s unique needs.

Unwind The Spine
This class focuses on spinal health. You will be guided through yoga postures and physical therapy exercises to increase strength and mobility. Another focus of this class is relaxation. You will leave this class feeling renewed, refreshed and ready for a great weekend!

Stretch & Strengthen
Stretch & Strengthen enhances wellness by combining yoga and breath work with physical therapy techniques to increase strength and flexibility. The focus is on stretching tight areas while strengthening core muscles. This class will help decrease tension in muscles and joints and increase support and stability of the spine and hips. You will learn techniques to strengthen your core muscles, on and off the mat. Offered outdoors at Four Mile Historic Park & Online through Zoom (Summer Only)

Yoga I (Temporarily on hold due to COVID-19)
This meditative practice includes longer holds to ignite the body’s internal heat and allow deep release to occur.  Students learn to balance strength with flexibility and effort with surrender in each pose.

Yoga for Wellness:

Increasing Strength & Mobility in the Spine

This 2-part course combines yoga and physical therapy techniques to prevent, or help alleviate, pain and stiffness in the back, hips, neck and shoulders. You will learn to target core muscles for strengthening and how to do effective stretching techniques. This will be paired with breath exercises to encourage relaxation and stress relief.
